Hi! Monkey! I came across your website while researching a story about Mama Stamberg’s relish (which I relish!). I loved that you made me laugh OUT LOUD!! Humans take themselves too seriously, and we need more laughter – no, guffawing – in this crazy world! I love your terry cloth skin and your sweet smile. Thank you for making me guffaw.

Hi Monkey, me again. Sorry, I should have written you here, rather than on your Chai page…sorry, it’s late and I’m turning 50 in two weeks, so…you know :) Judging from your other comments, you’re probably a forgiving sort of monkey…thanks, Arlette

    Hi Monkey!,
I have long enjoyed cooking (and vicariously travelling) with you. I came today looking for your delicious apple crumble recipe and cannot see it anywhere. It was just like my Grandma’s, only cuter, so I was going to recommend it to a friend. Please put it back on your site or I will have to pout. And that won’t be good.

oh dear fiona, i haven’t moved that recipe to my new site yet. you know, it is getting to be crumble season again (although crumble is good any time of year) so, i’m glad you’ve given me a reason to get off my derrier & move the recipe! if you are in dire need of it right this moment, you can find it at http://himonkey.org/old/cooking/gran. i suspect this recipe tastes just like your grandmas is because it is a genuine grandma’s recipe! i hope you enjoy it!!

Dearest Monkey – I was an avid fan for a couple of years, then I quit my job and moved. I used to visit you on my lunch breaks, oh how I missed you. So glad I found your website. I adore your cooking segments; you have great knife skills. Love to see your travel adventures. Look forward to catching up. All smiles, you make me laugh!

Since I was like 10 or 9 years old I’ve known your website and it has been a long time I haven’t visited this site, you made me smile when I was younger and now you make me cry thinking about my childhood years when I hugged teddybears going to bed, now I’m 15… :’( I thank you for that cute look you have and the fur you have the resemble my toys, I don’t play with them anymore of sometimes I just cry in the corner thinking how many minutes I wasted of being a kid.
